Went to a Ricky Tims and Alex Anderson Seminar Thurs-Sat in Rocklin, Ca and it was awesome! Wow so much info, my brain couldn't soak it up fast enough. Libby Lehman was also there and she was great, funny and an awesome teacher. Just a bundle of information and tips. I must say they were all fantastic and I throughly enjoyed the seminar. Ricky is the most amazing music artist and gave a small concert one night which was very special. Not only is he a wonderful quilter but also a fabulous piano and flute player. I think it was the flute or maybe not but it looked like it just bigger in diameter. He played it so well and the music was very soothing and beautiful. Such a story teller, I so enjoyed that part of it and each one of them took us on a journey of letting us into their lives and sewing rooms. If any of you get a chance to go to one of his seminars you must make a point of going, you will not regreat it. Summer is finally here the heat has been awful and it's a part of the valley I don't enjoy. It makes me feel sluggish and it zaps my energy. I would love to live in cool country, any suggestions out there? It is hard trying to get into quilting when it is so hot but I'm going to try my best to work through it this summer, we'll see how it goes. I'm starting on another baby quilt for my grand baby Betsy and hope to work on it tomorrow. Well I bought a Bernina 440 and while at the seminar bought some new feet for it and I can't wait to try them out. I didn't get the machine at the show but they did have some awesome deals on all their machines and they were selling them like pancakes. Those 830's were really selling so there were alot of happy people walking around, hahahaha. Until next time keep on quilting and hope to see all your beautiful quilts. God Bless and keep on quilting.
