Scrap Squad's 3rd Reveal
Quiltmaker magazine's Scrap Squad's third reveal is in progress. Eight of us across the US get a pattern in advance of the issue's debut and make a scrappy version and I really like this month's! The pattern is called Spinout by Barbara Cline and can be found in the July/August issue of Quiltmaker which should be on your newstand this week!
They are revealing the eight scrappy quilts one at a time this time and today's my day! I made a baby quilt but I've had a sneak peak at all of them and the quilters' creations are all so different and beautiful - check out yesterday's fall version too. The original pattern is paper pieced, but I "cheated". Removing all that paper from an entire quilt sounded like a big job so I used the foundation as a template. They show my method too! This has been so much fun!

Carol the quilt is very sweet. It was an interesting way of doing this pattern but I bet it took a lot of patience. I loved the Debbie Mumm quilt you did also. That is perfect for a little girl.
