Does anyone know anything about this machine?  I can find NOTHING about it on the internet so far.  It is selling on a local on-line auction.  I'm assuming it is a working toy machine circa 1950's, possibly?  When we looked at the listing  yesterday, the bidding was at $140.  I'm not interested in buying it, but I am intrigued by it and that fact that I can't seem to find any history or information about it.  It has a crank handle, but it also looks like there is a belt on it as well.  Maybe this isn't as small as what I'm envisioning in my head - maybe it is actually more featherweight-size or so.

THANKS, handstitcher!!!  Obviously your search engine skills are much better than mine.  Great information.  She is smaller than what I thought.  Very cool.

I found this link, Jan, with your machine. Doesn’t show what it sold for, but it does give the dimensions.  https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/childs-hand-crank-sewing-mac.... Such a cute machine!

Irene,  Good suggestion.   I have done all kinds of Google/internet searches to no avail.  I thought maybe some machine collectors may have more information.

Pam, she is a cutie.  I'd like to see her in person.

Try Googling and see if you can get any results.

Oh, I did find something.:  this might be an H G Palmer sewing machine made in Japan.  I didn't find anything just like her in pictures, but the crown logo on pictures I did find were similar.  The pictures I found were larger machines in an aqua color, but the tension assembly was in the same place.  Still no real historical information found as yet.

No dimensions given.  Actually  no information given at all, just the picture.  Local auction service from a local collector.  I've searched and searched on the internet.  The closest thing I've found in shape is a Russian made machine (different name), but the tension assembly is in a different location.

It’s a pretty little thing. I would be interested in knowing more about it, too. I take it they don’t give the dimensions.

It's a nice looking machine but like you, I can't decide if it's a child's machine or a regular machine. I have two friends who have these antique machines and they are quite small. Did you see this on Ebay? Maybe they could tell you.
