Quilt With Us

Haven't posted for a while on here and I shared earlier with you all our excitement over having twin boys come into our family. And as you can imagine it was a long..... wait from July when they were born until our trip to HK in October. It seemed at times that the trip wasn't going to be as DH had some health issues, so they needed to be sorted before we could take off to see our precious GSons. We did tentively cancelled our side trip from HK to Aust. because of time running out. But we managed the trip to HK and also managed to take a short trip for 10 days instead of 3 weeks to Australia. We had a fantastic time in HK and in Australia. We met up with DH niece we hadn't seen in 32 years and meet her family, then another highlight was to meet Barbara Blackwell, who I have been corresponding with on LOAQ for about 5 years. We had fun and saw beautiful scenery.

Here is our picture with our little ones from Hong Kong. I will post a few photos at a later date of some scenery we saw on our travels.

Right now like a lot of people in North American we are facing very cold temps. Today was -26C with a wind chill of -48C I was out silly fool that I am to join my friends at my Sew What Group, but we had lots of laughter which warms the soul so it was worth it, the roads were not too bad otherwise I would have stayed in. The wind howled last night and we kept hearing frost quakes where the ground outside is so cold.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year, and as for the cold we know it won't last forever, sew  go and sew and enjoy that time in your sewing room and create!!!LOL.

I share your bursting heart.  I now know the feeling of having a grandchild and every time I look at my little Luke, my heart goes, pa-bump.  I can't imagine twins.  Your Gkids are so beautiful. Too bad they live so far away.

Your grand babies are awesome; they all look like big dolls!  I'd love to hug them.

So glad you have been able to spend time with the 'boys' both in HK and back home.  I am thrilled you were able to make the trip AND get to Australia.  Now, keep warm my friend.

They are so precious and fun to love, spoil, hold and hug them. Glad that you had a wonderful trip and that DH's health issues worked out.
