But it still made me laugh. Happy quilting everyone! Protect those scissors!

I think I should print out this picture and posted it in my sewing room. Someone still doesn't get the hint... but then again I do get new scissors when I catch him cutting something non fabric with my scissors, darn those things can get expensive-for him!
When we first got married, fifty years ago, I showed hubby my fabric scissors (they were Singers) and told him that they were totally off limits. I guess he knew I really meant it because I still have those scissors and they're still sharp! But I've since moved on to ones that are more comfortable to use.
I am totally with it. My boys, now men, still stay away from my sewing room scissors. Better safe than deal with mom.
I can relate to this. My scissors are guarded property. I like the way Pam handled it. lol
My severe Autism 32 year old daughter greeted us the morning we were going to Florida in May by cutting off her hair to a boyish 1" on top. She had a pony tail of hair almost to her waist. She was then trying to get us to put the hair back on. She did an excellent job with paper scissors! I was just glad she did not stick the scissors into her eyes. She did have a cut on her face.
Im laughing at Pam's comment! This is cute and SO TRUE!!!
LOL! Future quilter there. Nobody in my house has been brave enough to think about touching my fabric scissors :) Just the chuckle I needed tonight.
I broke down and bought Fiskar's scissor sharpener. It really works and makes all my scissors sharp again, even the ones I use on paper.
Love it, love it. He or she is not kidding about those fabric scissors. This is so darn cute!!!!!
