Quilt With Us

I made this bag for Mari's Gifty Galore Quilt Along from the book Bags Pillows & Pincushions and used the Batik Paradise fabric.  It was going to be a gift but now that it is made I am going to keep it because I love it. I'll have to make another one or two to give away. They were so quick and easy to make! When I go shopping or on vacation I am always filling my pockets with the few things I have to have with me (especially credit card and money). Now I can carry a lot more shopping bags and my little bag!

Lovely! I made some of these 2 years ago, the pattern was featured in a quilting magazine. it sure beats carrying a 20-pound bag.

Yeah, I'll get right on that Karen. I'll add it to my list of things to do.

Very cute Judy!  If you make a couple of extras, you know I love batik....hint hint  :)

Irene - Yes, the strap is long enough to hang on my shoulder or across my body but I am short. It would be really easy to make them longer if you are tall.

Very cute, I like it. Is the strap long enough to hang around your neck? I also love that quilt in the background.
