I am sorry Barb, I have to break this to you.  My brother has 5 sisters and he discovered this beeper that goes off on all his sisters...When we see a sales rack the beeper goes off and runs faster as we get closer to sales racks  Beep beep beep BEEP....

You are a bunch of true "Quilting" friends. I did have fun. And, shockingly enough, my favorite of the fabrics I bought was on sale--of course, the ones it wanted to play with were not. The only semi-down part of the day was I drove directly into the sun, both ways, and my eyes are still a bit wonky. Hopefully I'll be able to thread a needle by evening.

You mean besides the book you'll be signing checks and credit card slips?  Well, isn't that what you're there for, a signing?  Have fun!

I love to help my friends shop. I get to shop and they get to pay....... All I can say is good-luck as I know that lip drooling, slobbering anxiety that takes place when I walk into a quilt shop with tons of luscious goodies to choose from

I always help my girlfriends in the quilt stores.... help them spend their money that is.  Is that the kind of help you are wanting??? LOL

I've read the other posts on here and I do have to admit you are on your own, no help available.  :o)

I do the same thing, only when I run out of money I send text message to the other half and let him know how much he loved me that day $$$. $$  Yes I was that bad one day, ok maybe it was more than one day......

Well, Barbara, I suppose we could all JOIN you to help you keep your, uh, resolve...  

"Wait!  Does that sign over there say 30% off?"  

What was I saying?  Oh yeah, we could be there for you. You  know.  To help keep you from buying fabric.  

"Hold on a sec.  Hey, everyone.  Over here!  Do you SEE this new fabric line?  We've GOT to have some of that...and this...and that..."

On second thought, you might be better off on your own.  We'd be no help at all.  :D

You go girl, by the time you decide to buy it later, the shop may close forever and you'll be forever wondering where you might find that special fabric!

Barbara, Barbara,,,You must be the only girl in the world that feels like this,,,I have read this to my DH and all we did was know that is what we all do...believe you me,,,we ALL feel like this. You are not alone..be strong my friend..
