Quilt With Us

Sneak peek at my latest embroidery design!

I am definitely in an embroidery mood. Sewing, not so much lately...but embroidering...Yes!  I was really excited and pleased that my Rhapsody of Reds embroidery pillow was liked by so many.  It inspired me to do another!!!  I designed a fall collection that I am just in love with.  I can't quite tell you all about it yet, since it's not due out for a while, but I'm really really excited about it!  I'll give you a few clues.  It's fall inspired.  I painted all the designs.  Sunflowers are involved.  Ok..that's enough for now :)
I absolutely love the focal I did, so I wanted to design another pillow embroidery using that design.  My coworkers think I'm a bit nuts for taking on such an ambitious project, but you know how it is when you're excited about something, you just really really want to to it.  Well that's exactly how I feel.

The images give you just a taste of what to expect.  I'll be posting other blogs as my project progresses and then when the group launches you'll see the finished project.

I even had a little help from my dear pup Pasquale...at least he thought he was helping.

Thanks for looking; stay tuned!

Thanks Debbie, Yes, it's so relaxing to me to just sit an embroidery.  I guess embroidering to me is what binding is to others:)  A machine embroidery machine must be neat:)

Cant wait to see it either.  I'm just starting to learn hand embroidery.  ten+ yrs ago I purchased a machine that did it all and fell in love with machine embroidery but I also want to lean the hand kind too. I agree...our little pups sure know a good thing when they see it.  Looking good so far!

Can't wait- I love sunflowers.  Pasquale is quite handsome but from the look on his face I have to ask "Was that wet when you picked it up?"
