Quilt With Us

My daughter doesn't quilt, but she does amazing counted cross stitch.  Way back when, she started this series of calendar snowmen.  It took a while - she got a master's, husband, and baby in the meantime but they are all finished and she asked if I could sash them into a quilt.  It turned out so cute I had to share.

All the blocks are cute but I think August and September are my favorites:

She did a great job!

The snowmen are really cute. What a marvelous way to use both talents. I am a cross stitcher also and know the work and time put into each block. You both did a fantastic job.

So beautiful, you both did a marvelous job.  My DD also does x-stitch, but with her hectic schedule some of her projects have become UFO's.

This turned out great!  Your fabric looks just right with the xstitch.  I used to do xstitch back when I didn't need bi-focals.  I still have some finished things laying around that I've been meaning to make into pillows or something but never can picture what fabric to use with them.

That is so cute, Carol.  I know how much work goes into x-stitch and quilting!  Together you've made a magical quilt!
