Quilt With Us

Some never out grow their baby quilt.

I got a request from my neice for another quilt. She has gotten 2 because she asked for the second quilt when she out grew the baby quilt, she was about 4 when she asked me for a new quilt because hers was too small. She is now 18 and has been sick for 2 years, the docs can't figure out what is wrong with her.  On Friday she goes to Mayo clinic in Minn. for more tests.  She has had some kind of seizures.  My sister has taken care of her and her 4th grade son with a full time hubby.  You know the helpless kind of husbands?I hope they can finally find out what is wrong with my neice and help her.

I am off to find the Fairie fabric that I know I put in a good place.

I hope that they can diagnose your niece, usually that's half the battle.  A quilt from you will lift her spirits, and fairy fabric is the best!

Quilts made with such love contain magical properties--the Mayo Clinic will surely help as well.  Please keep us posted.

The Mayo Clinic was able to diagnosis my cousin when no one else was.  Good luck.

Marni:  That is so sad.  It's got to be so hard for your sister and family.  What a joy it will be for you to make her a quilt.  Know that she is in our hearts and prayers.

Fairie fabric!  How perfect for this kind of comfort quilt.

Oh Marnie...How difficult it must be for her not to know what is causing her issues.  She is going to the best place to figure that out.  I will pray for her, your sister and the doctors who will be diagnosing her at Mayo.

I will also being praying that they find the cause of your niece's illness and have her on the road to recovery soon.  I'll also add a prayer for you sister.  I'm sure your niece will love her new quilt.

You can't find a better place for diagnosis and treatment than Mayo Clinic.  It is awesome!  Good luck to your niece.
