Spring is on it's Way...I Know it is!!!

We've been having really nice weather, at least for here in this part of Colorado! Warm temps, sunshine and the hope of green popping it's head from the dry dead grass of winter...then bam! Another snowstorm! The one really good thing I can think of that I appreciate this storm for is this: it does get a person who's been tempted with plants and green growing things, to think QUILTS again, really fast! LOL! Think I'll put on some hot chocolate and get some pattern books out...what kind of weather are you having???

Well, here in south La., it is 66* at 6:20 p.m...... I have got the second batch of irises blooming now. I love this beautiful weather but I know that if you stick around for awhile it will change. I am trying to finish up the last of my pillowcases for the challenge and I am putting the second QFKs top together so I can get them quilted. I am suffering with my allergies but determined to not let them get me down.

really ready for spring here in central/coastal Maine! though a real mild winter, and we missed all of those storms that the mid altantic got ( yeah!) the frost is almost out of the ground and we are into Mud Season, and living on a dirt road, that is not pretty. I know it is only mid March and we still expect some wild and wacky weather before all is said and done. though nice outside I am still in working on another project. to early to get out and do anything

Hi! In southeast TX we are having overnight lows in the mid 40's and the afternoon temps up to the mid 60's. It has been sunny the last few days, but rain is sure to come at the end of this week. The sunshine improves my state of mind and fuels my spirit.

We are having rain and sun here in the Pacific NW. Today is supposed to be partly cloudy, but tomorrow there's rain on the way. Which is too bad, my two youngest sons have their first track meet of the season. Oh well :)

Ronda - Here in S.Ontario it is March break for the kids. Today is dreary and slight misty rain. But tomorrow they promise us 12 sunny and by Wed. Sunny and bright and 14 so at lest the kids can play outside. We had two days of solid rain and high winds. We are ready for SPRING!! Some shoots of daffs. are showing up through the earth. Hot chocholate sounds good and happy quilting!

Uhoh. If you are getting snow again, that means it will probably be here in a few days. We had a 2-day snowstorm last week that followed a 3-day soaker (rain). The frost is going out of the ground as well, so our roads are MUDDY!!! The wind has blown the past couple of days so the roads are pretty well dried out except for a few bad spots. Hot chocolate sounds good! Happy quilting!
