Quilt With Us

I have finally opened the doors of my studio and posted to both the website and the blog pictures of what it now looks like on the inside. It's still a little dusty as one of the armoires decided it didn't like the shelving in there and had to be fixed. So everything is still a little helter skeltered in there, but at least I can work inside. My darling hubby is attaching a storm door for me so I can have the main door open, if I wish, to watch snowflakes fall.

I've put a few pictures here so you can get a hint of what the studio itself looks like. Thanks again to all who entered my contest and, hopefully, everyone has received their prizes by now.

This is SamWise who is glad the studio is done. May be now he can get some sleep!

I love the worktable too. Believe it or not, it's just two kitchen sink base units back to back with a 4x8 piece of oak plywood on the top that I sealed and trimmed. It works for me! ~2*

You are the envy of us all! (oh, what I could do if my sewing room had vertical walls instead of slanted ceilings! LOL) Love the large work table and shelves. Isn't it great to have your books sorted and where you can actually find them? : D And music! I have a little stereo CD/radio player in my attic, but it stops in the middle of a CD. Sometimes I don't notice until it suddenly decides to start back up in the middle of the night and DH says, "Where's that music coming from?" ! LOL

Thanks for the compliment. It still needs a lot of work on the organizing end and organizing all of the fabric, but for now, it works. It's all in there and as long as it doesn't self destruct again, i guess I'm good for go!
