Thought I would share a few pictures today of my New Studio. I still need to have a couple of curtain rods put up so that I can display a quilt or two and have a design wall as well.
But here is what it looks like right now.
View from the door as you enter the room
My Butterfly cutting table just wasn't working well in this space so I had oodles of these cubes leftover from my Scrapbook Store when I sold it and I had them full of assorted craft supplies, so we placed them "almost" back to back leaving a space and then had a 4x8 piece of melamine cut down to 4 x 7 to lay on top. The large ironing board is just laying on one end and I just lift it off when I need more cutting space.
Another section of cubes that house tools, cutters etc, and my Commercial Bobbin Winder
This dresser contains my collection of Fat Quarters, and of course a girl has to have some sewing themed decorations too!
Another cutting table view. I love how my rulers are handy right in front of me when I cut
These Ikea drawers hold projects ready to go
I have two of these tall cupboards side by side. One holds small pieces of batting, the other backing fabrics and small quilts ready to be quilted. I love my jar of Antique clothespins on the top!
More decor on the cupboards and my collection of "sad irons"
See my License plate? The other one in on my car.
A fun place to store my tape measures
Miss Ava ~ happy with her new home and already back at work!
These drawers hold my Pantograph patterns right under the Longarm
More Singer decor, this is a garbage can
Cupboard for thread, patterns and quilt books and magazines
And of course Lilly has her bed nearby to watch.
Hope you enjoyed the Tour!
