Quilt With Us

Hi Everyone! Hope the weather is getting better and better each day your way!

We are having warmer weather, slowly, some ups and downs along the way, but it is coming!!

As for this past Sunday, we had two of our grandchildren, Cleo and Savannah here coloring easter eggs. Since I will be gone next week having Easter with two of the other grandkids in NC, we did eggs early. We also hid plastic eggs with coins and small Easter baskets, in different rooms for them to find. It was a fun day, with lots of laughs and love! Most of the other grandkids are getting to the age that they have better or other things to do. Don't know what I will do, when none of them are young enough any more. I will miss these little fun things I guess. I will have to pick up a couple of little ones from somewhere else................ LOL

I hope that you all have a wonderful, delightful and blessed Easter and that you get to spend it where ever you wish with family and friend and lots of grandkids~~

Hugs,

Carol

Sounds like fun Carol. We brought and Easter basket to oldest granddaughter last Sunday. We gave it to her dad, to hide until next Sunday.Granny had plenty of other goodies , I had been shopping lol I pick up for the grandkids when I hit a sale. We mailed baskets to my DD and GS, DD loves easter baskets lol. And mailed a little dress to Fia. Maybe someday my kids will live closer to us.

Carol--what a good grandma you are, building memories with your grandchildren. Sometimes mommies are too busy and too stressed to get around to everything, so grandmas are essential. My two kids are grown and in college, but when they were little they would hide their plastic eggs over and over again--they would usually take turns, but sometimes they would both hide them and both look--of course they also took turns being the dog, so that's not really surprising, I guess. Happy Easter--have a good trip.

Yes Carol, you can always "borrow" someone else's children :)
My daughter is 19 and still loves to color Easter eggs (me too!) ,hopefully they'll never completely grow up.

Carol, it's been awhile since you've been on and I've missed you. Yes, I too love Easter. My egg dying days were over when my grandaughter turned 11. She would come help me dye the eggs and then I would hide them for her. Now, she's almost 15, but she did get an Easter basket last year and loved it. So, she will again this year. Sounds like you are having so much fun with them. Making those memories now, because, like you said, they'll grow to fast. Hugs to you.
