Quilt With Us

Last Sat. our sewing club took several baby quilts and two or three larger quilts to the Shepherds Godparent home in Bangor. We were given a tour of the facility and met some of the residence and their babies.  It's a home for young girls to have their babies and have a place to stay while they pursue an education or get on their feet financially. The home is run entirely on donations. L-R in gray top, resident of home. Peggy Coleman, Sara Cameron, Irene Gallway, Mary McLellan, resident of the home with her baby and Karen Durrell also a member of our sewing group.  After our visit we went out to lunch and then shopped til we dropped.  It was a great day out with the "girls".

What a great day for all of you & a great mission for your group. I am sure the young women really appreciate all your wonderful quilts!

Babies and quilts to snuggle--what could be more fun? Good job.
