Quilt With Us

I feel like I should be sending out Christmas greetings today. It suddenly looks like the inside of a snow globe outside. When I went to the library at noon, the sun was shining, the grass still looked green--now snow like crazy.

The upcoming weeks will be busy, busy. I am driving tomorrow to Casper, stopping to visit bookstores and quilt shops. Then on to Douglas on Saturday morning for a book signing. Back up the state to visit more shops and into Montana to check on mom.

Tuesday I fly to Seattle to help #1 son with his move into a condo. I volunteered to paint and whatever while he's at work--maybe do a little decorating and visit some fabric stores. (Mom's got to get something out of this trip too).

When I get home there will only be a few days before Thanksgiving. Wow! where does the time go?

And like I didn't have enough to do, that darn Riley tempted me too far with a beautiful applique quilt she's going to make and I want one too--do you think there's a way to quilt with my toes and applique with my fingers at the same time? Don't I wish!

I'll try to check in--meantime Happy Quilting!

PS don't forget to enter the drawing for the 2 books before Thanksgiving.

I think you need to borrow Riley's roller skates - LOL What a schedule you have. They are hinting at snow here today, but who knows. It's nothing like where you are, that's for sure.

Uhoh, snow in Wyoming usually means it is headed our way. Safe travels!

Oh I so wish we were going to Wyoming this weekend. I would be in Douglas in a flash.Would love to meet you. I know what you mean about the snow. We have a foot and a half already. The only thing keeping me from being depressed is that we will be on the sunny( or at least much warmer) coast this time next week. My toes are dying to sink into the sand with a pocket full of chocolate. Drive careful as those road around casper can be so nasty.

Sounds like a busy schedule...always fun helping the kids...good time for some bonding and laughs! You must meet some characters at a book signing! You'll have to give us some stories on that! Happy trails!

I tried to pre-order the new book at B&N but they couldn't do it so I guess I just have to wait a few more days and then see if they have one or order it then. BooHoo!
