TAXES

WHEN NASA FIRST STARTED SENDING UP ASTRONAUTS, THEY QUICKLY DISCOVERED THAT BALL-POINT PENS WOULD NOT WORK IN ZERO GRAVITY. TO COMBAT THIS PROBLEM, NASA SCIENTISTS SPENT A DECADE AND $12 BILLION DEVELOPING A PEN THAT WRITES IN ZERO GRAVITY, UPSIDE DOWN, ON ALMOST ANY SURFACE INCLUDING GLASS AND AT TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM BELOW FREEZING TO OVER 300 C.

THE RUSSIANS USED A PENCIL.

ENJOY PAYING YOUR TAXES, THEY’RE DUE AGAIN!

Excessive expense? probably.

But I'd Just as soon live in a place where people think and explore and invent rather than not.

And even before that they invented the pace maker to monitor the monkeys/chimps they sent into space.  You give a little, you get a little, it is the nature of research.

Very funny Roz!  Got a good chuckle and then had a good cry!  What a waste.

Thanks Roz, I feel so much better knowing my tax dollars are being so well spent.   Just think of the fabric I could buy with my tax money.
