Quilt With Us

Hi to all. I just got on to see what everyone is doing and caught the pic of our little helpers. I couldn't help but laugh. Mine aren't the helpful kind (thank god). They wait for the finished project and then the test drive!!!! This is Ivy. I no sooner spread the quilt out to admire my handy work and there she was. The quilt is from one of the magazines I get and was made for my daughter. It is also the only one that I have been able to work on in several months. :( I recently had a problem with inflamation in my shoulder and can barely move the arm. I am getting better, although I've been bored out of my mind with nothing to do while my arm heals. So while I was downloading the picture of Ivy I found an embroidery project that I started a while ago. :) it's work the machine can do and all I have to do is change threads. I think I can handle that.

Your quilt is beautiful. My dd is picking up her puppy today and it is a Yorkie. She called and asked me how hard it is to housebreak a Yorkie. My DH raised them and said they were hard. So now my dd, still getting the pup, but is second quessing the housebreaking. So we will see. I love dogs so hope I get to dog sit (after the housebreaking stages) ;o)

Ivy is sooo cute. Our little yorkie is Kassie and she's a handful. Keeps us in line so to speak. Tells us when it's time to eat, when it's time to go to bed and she is now our new alarm clock. I think she is a reincarnated great dane as she pushes her weight around all the time. Love your quilt.

Beautiful quilt. You need a great job. Your little buddie is also very cute. I had a Yorkie at one time I know how much of a companion they can be.

Kathy, Very nice job on the quilt, it's lovely!

What would we do without our critters to test our quilts. My husband likes to tell anyone that gets one of my quilts, that it's not finished until it's been slept on by the cats!

Beauiful quilt and adorable dog! I've learned through this site that my cats aren't the only animals who have to 'try out' new quilts lol. Sorry to hear about the shoulder; hope you enjoy a complete recovery SOON.

Kathy, your quilt is beautiful. I like the way you did the flowers and the blocks together.
Your Ivy is a cute little dog. She knows a good thing when she sees it.
I hope your shoulder is doing OK now.
