The Orphanage was made from a collection of leftover blocks and practice pieces and sewn together Improv. style. It is ready to be quilted but is waiting in line so to speak.

Thanks for all the nice encouraging comments. I went out and purchased the batt the other day so as soon as I finish the project I am working on, it will be on to this one. Still trying to decide what design to use.(I use my Janome 8500) I may just use a more simple  overall design, a spiral perhaps.

This is what I do with some of my orphans too.  They make great donation quilts.
