About a year ago I responded to a call for quilt patterns in recognition of Cinco De Mayo. This is the throw I designed:
The pattern can be found in the April 2016 issue of The Quilt Pattern Magazine http://www.quiltpatternmagazine.com/
I made this quilt using fabrics from the Mirage Mottled Fabric line from Connecting Threads. I have already seen a few quilts others have made using my pattern, in different color palettes, after all... Serapes do come in a multitude of colors.
This quilt goes together easily (beginner skill level). All of the quilting was done on my Bernina using a walking foot.

Oh, WOW! I love that! Very Cinco-de-Mayo in design!
GREAT quilt! I like everything about it - from the bright colors, to the beautiful quilting. Perfect for Cinco de Mayo.
You are a very talented lady. The quilt is fabulous.
Well done! How exciting to have your own pattern published. I like the mirage fabrics here. I'll bet it is fun seeing your pattern done in different fabrics/colorways.
Very nice!
