Quilt With Us

This is the train quilt that was a work-in-progress for FAR too long.  It is in its new home with GS#1 who loves it.  I don't know if you can tell from the pictures, but I used the alphabet feature on my machine to stitch "Rail Road Crossing" in the cornerstones.  It fits with the railroad tracks sashing.

He must have been so excited to get this quilt! Very boyish that he will love for years. Good job grammy!

You did a grand job on it. I know what you mean about working on a quilt that doesn't have the fun feel. At the end, it is wonderful.

Great boy's quit, Pam!  I could enlarge the photo enough to read the "Railroad Crossing" cornerstones.  Clever!

Thanks, all.  I don't know why this one was such a tough one to slog through.  It wasn't difficult, but I really lacked motivation to work on it.

It is great.  He should get many years of use out of it.

What a lucky GS!  I can see why he loves it, plus he gets to be covered in love from you every night.
