Maybe it 120 to cut, 120 to sew and 120 to quilt? I would love new quilt skirt, but already have two quilts to finish by Dec. 22. Thanks for the pattern.
IT's so very pretty!!
gayle at the widest part the diameter is 33" and 30 at the narrow parts.if you want it larger you could use 12" blocks and 4x12" sashing(spacing) rectangles. That finishes at 44"... My Mum made one using this method and a panel I will post a pic of that when I get it. If that size is more to your liking I can get the cutting instructions to you for the sashing and the corners. Just let me know....You could not use a layer cake though.
congrats cate the skirt looks wonderful!! you are trully a talented pattern designer
Cate, I read thru the entire recipe and didn't notice a size(finished) for that skirt/tabletopper. Do you remember what it is?
It wasn't me who put that on there that was Moodabakeshop. I agree it did take me longer than 2 hrs but it is a gimmicky thing they have going on for projects, 30, 60 or 120 min. I myself would not have put that there but they are the final editors so what they say goes.... it did take less than 2 days and that was with taking all the pictures and writing the tutorial as I went along so maybe it could be completed in a half a day. that is more realistic to me. thanks for the input and generous praise. I appreciate it! :)
Very pretty! I really like the interesting shape of this. I don't think I would get mine finished in 120 minutes though.
Ohhh, that is pretty...
