Quilt With Us

Good morning-
Good news...My nephew is doing a lot better. Had a few tough days, this definitely is a tough disease to kill once it gets into your lungs. We were able to get him on the Chloroquine and Z pack along with a nasty antibiotic.
After doing some research on face masks...if, you are making them, keep in mind that vacuum cleaner bags are a great filter. I am making mine with a pocket to slip in a new filter everyday. One bag can make many 5x6 filters.

Prayers for all to get through this safely. There are so many sacrificing in our communities to keep us safe!

Good news!  Glad he's on the mend.

I read where a nurse recommended PULs fabric (the waterproof kind that cloth diapers or tablecloths are made from.)  If using the PUL (polyurethane laminate) fabric, it will need to be lined with a softer fabric.  Seems PULs might be hard to find right now.   The information also said to make sure the pattern you use cups the chin to be snug up against the face.  If any of what I'm sharing is misinformation, please set me straight.
