Update to Calling all prayer warriors.....

I would like to thank each and every one of you that have been praying for my boys!!!! We finally made it out of the hospital late Thursday and home on Friday. Forgive me for just sending this as I was trying to unpack and get some rest. Still a little tired. I have carried the stress of it since May. The stay was a stressful one but the outcome was good, For that I thank God! Your prayers also were important!!The hardest part was that on Monday morning when we told Danny he was going into the hospital , he asked me was he getting worse and was he going to die. The hospital chaplin came and saw him and we talked to him as well as his doctor and assured him that wasn't the case but it is crucial for him to continue to gain weight. God gave him peace after that and he was a trooper for the rest of the stay. The other positive is that this was one of the only times he went in and they didn't have to poke and prod him all the time.

I would like to say as well that Children's Hospital in Birmingham is very connected to the kids while they are there. They have vists from clowns, pirates etc. they have scheduled activities for them to participate in and he got to do pet therapy with the dogs that came in. That made the time pass faster for him. Even my Oldest Brock said mom you can have a bad day and go in there and you can't help but smile looking at the kids and the strength they have. If we could all have that faith and determination they do!!!

Brock seems to be leveling out as well and hopefully will continue to improve as well. They started him on a beta blocker for the sinus tachacardia. It seems to be helping him and he is adjusting slowly. More tired than usual but that is to be expected.

Well know that we are home Danny will start school this week and Brock a new semester as well in college. I am going to focus on getting back to my life and my quilting. I have alot to do. As well as getting my house projects I had started finished and getting ready for the winter with Danny.

I pray that God will bless each of you abundantly and I again say thank you

from my family to yours!!! I will chat with you all soon.Take care!!!

Glad to hear things are better. God is so wonderful and when we can't stand on our own he holds us up and carries us if necessary. Hope you all get a good nights rest.

I'm so glad to hear things are better. The Lord seems to give us the strength we need when we need it and I'm sure you are feeling that adrenaline let-down (though in a good way). It is not only physically tiring, but emotionally as well. Hopefully you will sleep well at night and get your energy back after this time with the boys' health issues. Thanks for keeping us posted.

Good good news. Thank you God! You and your boys have been much in my thoughts and prayers. Hope you can take good care of you now - stress is mighty hard on the body.

Sharon, thank you for letting us know this upbeat news. You must be so exhausted from the ordeal and stress of worry. Do you have anyone that can help, so you can have a few hours to do something for yourself? I wished, I lived closer...I'd give you some help. Stay strong...

Sharon I am glad to hear that the boys are doing much better. I hope you will have a few minutes each day to take care of yourself. If you get run down you will not be able to help where you are needed. May God bless and take of you ALL.
