Quilt With Us

Last week an old adversary came calling and hasnt left yet. I have had arthritis sense I was a kid. Last week it finally kicked in, in my back of all places.  The doctors told me that I had it years ago.  It didn't bother me then but it does now.  So having that slowing me down, I took mom shopping for Christmas presents for the family. Hummmm, the only thing she bought was shoes for herself.  Ok I guess it was worth it to get her out of the house.  Now she knows that I'm on vacation and tomorrow wants to go to gets meds.

I have one last border to put on quilt top and it will be ready for quilting.  I still have one from months ago sitting on the longarm.  I am going to work on that this week and get it done.  I have plans for getting the lastest quilt pattern instructions finished up and hopefully sent into CT for the designer download.  I've been trying to decide which pattern I want to work on next.  I was planning on hitting the LQS for some material but never made it that far.  I am trying to be good here and work with what I have, I really am trying.

I still have DD black lab here at the house and she is adjusting to the rest of the herd here.  My baby Yorkie, ok he isn't a baby any more but he has figured out how to get Velvet, the lab worked up.  Being the compact model he fits under my couch and loveseat.  Stitch, runs up behind her, nips at her heels and runs.  To hear them you would think WWIII had broke out in the house.  Note to self, move breakables one shelf higher. This running around leads to running from room to room and a very confussed black lab.

Signing off for this evening, I am going to have coffee and chocolates while pondering the long quiet dinner with DD and her Dr. boyfriend for Wednesday evening.

Maybe you should get rid of the breakables?  Never mind, the dogs will do that for you.  We have two areas in our house where you can run from room to room and back again - in circles.  I remember having to yell at our four dogs - who had two visitors - that if they didn't calm down they couldn't have their friends over anymore!
