Quilt With Us

My heart goes out to all my American friends, because of the bad weather you are experiencing at the moment.  The whole tornado thing sounds terrifying to me.  Even here in South Africa where I am, we experience weather uncommon for this time of year.  I live in a summer rainfall region, but allthough it is already the end of May, we still get rain.  We only had our first real frost last night.  I pray that you'll all be safe and that the weather situation will very soon improve.  Blessings!

Lanie, so sorry I didn't reply sooner. My access to the site has been limited to my iPhone and it didn't show me your post. Your country is a fascinating one to me. Years ago a friend brought another friend to stay at my house. It was the 70's and it was interesting to learn about the culture. I'm familiar with "caravan" as a vehicle to travel. I'd love to see yours. I hope your weather is improving. We're in cooler climate right now but will head back to heat at the end of the month.

There has been unusual and very strong storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc. all over the world this year. An article in our newspaper yesterday is attributing much of it to global warming. I know all the prayers are greatly appreciated for people's safety.
