Quilt With Us

I have done a few more hexagons and some flowers as I go into the third week. Keeping score is a part of encouraging myself to keep at it especially as there is always enough stuff happening to distract me from this project. I am doing Craftsy' BOM and was caught up with this months' block. Also there are two other members here who have decided to take out their own gfg's and have a go at finishing them. So we have decided to share our progress.

Lovely things happen in the world of craft and I am not referring to the beautiful creations but the way members reach out with warmth that is totally unexpected and touching. I had a new friend on this site offering to stamp out hexagons when she found out I could not order them easily. Even now those little hexagons are winging their way across the world. Thank you dear friend!. News of hate crimes make headlines while this kind of reaching out never gets written about. The world is surely a better place because of people of the latter kind!

Awesome progress!!!!  I don't think you can do much wrong on this site.  I made a discussion forum on the EPP page to post to also.  So others can see your progress.  You are doing great and I hope those hexi's make it to you safe. ;-)

Beautiful!  I love all the pictures shared on this sight!  Each artist has something different to offer.  Sobana, you and Amanda have wonderful patience doing these!  All those itty bitty hand stitches to create something so pretty!

Amanda - Love your hexies too. Yours is coming along nicely I see.

Linda _ I am sure they are grateful. just dont express it.

Maryam - thanks for the encouragement.

Betweens _ I just came back from looking at your Quilt top so any compliment by you is welcome.

Prairie Quilter - yes I do believe that bit about passing kindness along.

Beautiful work, Sobana!  Nice tribute to the generosity of the quilters on here.  I've found the same to be so true.  Isn't it humbling?  I'm just overwhelmed by the kindness I've been shown.  Makes it easy to pass that kindness along.  I'm glad you found someone willing and able to help you out.

They are very pretty, Sobana! I love your fabrics! Everyone on this site is so nice and helpful. You are so right I think if the kind, thoughtful things people did was written about more and shared with others it could change the world for the better. Here is what I have done so far on mine:

Wow, they do look so sharp and crisp. The paper really does look like it makes a difference. Thanks for saying thanks to those that helped you out. I have sent information and help to people and never get a thank-you. The only person that did was Pam/NY.
