Well, here it is the 31st, and I am still a "nonsmoker". I really don't miss the disgusting things one bit!! I even got a hug and a wahoo!! from my Dr. today. I am quite proud of myself!!

I understand that quitting smoking is as hard as quitting heroin! Good for you! Both my parents smoked heavily from the time I was born and I had pneumonia twice as a child and bronchitis many times. Since I've been married I haven't had a chest cold until this past month. So you've not only done yourself a favor, you've done everyone around you one too! Ginger

You should be proud! That is wonderful!! I know it's very very hard to do for a lot of people (I have never smoked), but the fact that you have made it through another day,,,,,,,Good for you, girl!!

Awesome! It is very tough to quit, and it's wonderful to hear you don't miss them. I was a social smoker in college, and now cannot stand that smell. You have done your health a good thing, too! I'm so happy for you!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!! I for one am soooo proud of you. How long has it been? I was injured at work in June of 2001 and spent less than a week in the hospital and decided when I woke up that I was not going to smoke any more. I quit cold turkey, so to speak, and have never smoked again. I did not remember how bad they smelt until my daughter came home last week on her vacation and I had to smell them every day. Once again, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
