Quilt With Us

Well, there one New year's Resolution down ......

Good Saturday morning (It's foggy here in No. California) to everyone.  I resolved that I would not post another blog nor comment on someone else's until I could figure out how to get a profile photograph up.  I'm not the most computer-literate person, so i was a little intimidated.  I found out it wasn't so hard after all.  Of course my college-aged DS did a lot of eye-rolling while I struggled with the process.

The photo was snapped by a friend at our last Quilt Show, which had an "Oregon Trail" theme, hence the pioneer costume.  I was recovering from a complete knee replacement six weeks before and I was trying to do my job as Vendor Chair.  The floor of the exhibit building was concrete, and walking was difficult, so I sat a lot in my folding chair and hand-quilted.  If the vendors had a problem they came to me.  I guess I became something of a "prop" for the show.  Anyway, my DH thinks the photo is "cute," so here it is.

Good job.  Doesn't it make you feel good when you figure it out on your own?

Great picture Carol Ann! Glad you got it figured out so we can not only see you, but get to know you better. Hope your knee is happy now. Those cement floors are really hard on them.

Carol Ann--I am SOOOO proud of you!!!! Good for you in learning to do it yourself.  Also--that's what God made our sons for, I think--eyerolling and to say, "I know."  Personally, I find pitying looks and "let me explain this more simply" harder to take, LOL.  (And DH is right--it is cute!)
