Quilt With Us

What 30 minutes does to a room on Christmas Eve!

Good morning and Merry Christmas-

We opened our gifts last evening with the grandsons! They are definitely entertaining! They seemed to like their quilts but when there are toys to play with.....

We are getting blowing snow and dropping temps. Enjoy your day!

I’m glad you made it to your son’s. This weather has been terrible!

We saw a similar change at our son's house. By the time the 3 youngsters demolished packages, there was more debris than room. It was a riot!

A wonderful way to end the year with family, especially the grandkids loving their presents and quilts. We had 4 " of snow yesterday morning, 1st white Christmas since 2008, and is in the 20's at night, so it will stay around a few more days until the rain comes back. We also had a great Christmas with the family.

This brings back good memories. I have seven grandchildren and I always cooked the Christmas family dinner with a tree loaded with gifts for all, including the adults. I use to call it making memories.  I had a quiet day yesterday with just my son Johnny and his girlfriend. And she did the dishes afterward, while I packed all the left overs for them to take home.

Amazing how quickly a room can get, huh, redecorated!  The same thing happened here.  Fun!  I had made up my mind not to get too worried about pre-Christmas cleaning this year.  It turned out to be a good plan, but, oh, do I have my work cut out for me tomorrow!

I remember those fun Christmas mornings when all the hard work and decorating disappear in a wrapping paper explosion!

It is sunny and chilly here in NorCal this morning.  No snow in our neck of the woods on the mountain, so we stayed in the valley this year.

Your two quilts turned out very well, Pam!  I'm sure they are very much appreciated, but quilts next to toys . . .  well, yeah.

Looks like lots of fun was had by all!  Merry Christmas!  We have a white Christmas with 8" snow and more predicted for today.  The men are feeding cattle, breaking ice at the tanks, and then we'll head to Todd's mom's.  Our immediate family was here yesterday.  GS#1 spent most of the afternoon outside sledding and playing in the snow.
