Quilt With Us

We have been busy with opening the lake house. The weather is finally turning to the good. Getting flowers in and feeding the birds! We have a very rare bird feeding at our feeder...it is an Indigo Bunting. My hubby remembers seeing one when he was a little boy. Sure hope they nest in our bushes and stick around!

I spent the day getting a top basted to work on this summer. The la...

That’s great Barb! We have a pair of orioles that feed here. Beautiful birdsongs!

I'm feeling better, no more bird envy.  We had an indigo bunting at our feeder at least twice yesterday.  Hope it continues.  We were watching a red fox in the backyard this morning.  And, gosh, are the orioles abundant this year!

Lovely quilt top, Pam. Can't wait to see you work your magic with it. We had an indigo bunting for two days at our feeder this week, rare for us. He's gone now, but I know a local park where they like to nest.

The quilt is beautiful.  Now I have bird envy.  A few times each summer I spot them in our yard.  But, it seems less and less each year.  I do hope he nests right there for you to enjoy.  Great job getting the picture.

The indigo bunting is beautiful, never seem one around here.   I love watching the birds and anyone else who shows up for a snack at the bird feeder. I usually get a laugh or 2 each day watching those silly squirrels!

The quilt is beautiful, lots of work and love involved there.

That quilt is beautiful. I have never heard of those birds. Would love to see some around here. When I grew up there were all kinds of blue birds but they disappeared for years. They started coming back a few years ago. I love the birds. I had six parrots at one time.

Have fun at the lake Pam.  We have been seeing a pretty bright blue bird in our yard this year.  I wonder if it is the same as the one you posted.  I told Larry we need to invest in a good bird book.

Sorry. seems I lost part of my message...the lady who hand pieced this top did a fabulous job. Hope to get a good portion done this summer, sitting out in the evenings.
