As I mentioned before in last post, the other half said that I could go material shopping. Well I finally got all that shopping done! I ordered some of the Birch Tree material a while ago and finally popped up with a design for the material but I was a little short on colors. I finally made up my mind. Thanks to CT and the design board I've compared colors and hopefully it will arrive soon. Having accomplished all that, I took myself out to dinner and wouldn't you know it, the other half calls. He is in Iowa tonight, on his way home. I had sent him a picture of the quilt that I created on EQ7 the other night while we were talking. Of all the times for him to remember to ask if I ordered the material I wanted. I confessed to ordering material and stated plainly that I had paid for it, (yes we have his and her accounts). Then the man insisted that I order the material I wanted, "I'm broke" says I. "Use my card" says he. "You know you never order enough." he reminds me. Up till now the man couldn't give a wit about my quilts. So I looked and looked and finally found material to order. He's buying, I'll order. Lord knows we can never have enough material. Besides, my stash doesn't even compare to some of you out there who shall remain nameless!!!
I called him to let him know that I've ordered said material and as long as he is back east, if he wouldn't mind going a little farther east to Ohio he could just back the trailer to the warehouse and pick it up for me. How much did I order?? Not telling him.
Once the material comes and I have a chance to post a block or two, I'll have my show and tell.
