The only thing I fit into from HS is my earrings!!!! They definitely made things better years ago...we have a beverage fridge in the garage from the 60s! Love that thing!

I do have a turtleneck that I still wear from high school.  I'm not bragging that it still fits - it is knit and stretchy and I have nothing on top (sigh), but the reason I mention it is THAT IT HAS LASTED THIS LONG without falling apart!  It is admittedly getting threadbare and worn at the seams, but is hanging in there.  Proof that things were just better made "back in the day?"  I don't like using those phrases because it makes me sound like my grandmother.

Mostly I fit into the "actually wear" pile, but I have to admit I have a pile of "if only I'd lose 5 - 10 pounds" that I swear I'll fit into about the same time they come back to being in style!  There is a dreamer in all of us :-D

yes, I too have all 3 piles. I keep thinking I should get rid of the "totally unlikely to ever fit" pile but I don't.  I will support the "eternal optimist" theory. It sounds really nice.

Yep, I think I have all of these piles.  My "no chance" pile is probably the smallest...but they're there.  For inspiration????  Is that the definition of an eternal optimist?
