Quilt With Us

Just wondering if anyone could give me a heads up where to find some quilt shops in Wisc. My daughter is moving from Livingston to Mazomanie this month and I will be going to spend a week with her family helping strip wallpaper and paint so I'd like to search out some new shops-I've only been to the ones in Platteville and Spring Green so would like to be able to check out some others. Thanks

well I'll be headed to Wisc this weeken d so thanks for the suggestions-now I just hope I'll have the energy to visit some of these shops-after all the painting and what-not!
Have been chatting with Trudie Hughes the former owner of Patched Works so would really like to get to her former store and check it out.

Agree-Mill House Quilts in Waunakee is terrific. Batik room is fabulous.

Quintessential Quilts in Reedsburg is my all time anywhere in the USA quilt store! It is in an older house and goes on and on! Also the Mill House Quilts in Waunakee. Further south and east in Racine is Elmwood Fabric Gallery on Durand Ave.

Attic Quilts in Beloit is also rumored to be good, but again, I haven't been there.

My in-laws have a small farm between Wauzeka and Boscobel. I heard there was a place in Richland Center but I have never been there. The only shop I have visited while up there was Yellow Bird in Lansing IA. It's kind of a drive from the farm tho and I think it's in the opposite direction from Mazomanie.

Post if you find anything! I'd be interested to hear what you find out!

If you are in Sun Prairie go a little further north and visit Nancy's Notions in Beaver Dam. Loved checking in there when my daughter lived in Appleton.

I have to recommend going to Stitcher's Crossing in Madison, also there is a wonderful shop in Waunakee, housed in what used to be a grain mill, and there is a shop in Sun Prairie, right on the main street. All three shops are within 20 minutes, or so of each other.
