Wishing you all A Very Merry Holiday and A Merry Christmas 2013

Hi Everyone!

Been busy, as I am sure everyone else has been too!   I am just finishing up last minute things, a little more baking. A little more wrapping, and catching up on my favorite Christmas movies.   Just this weekend I have finally gotten excited over Christmas coming.  No idea, why I have felt not excited as I usually do.  Maybe its because I am on such a high over that new grandson, I really haven't thought of much of anything else.

Feeling good again....

My daughter left yesterday morning from Baltimore, driving this time, to save on money.  She has her 15 year old pup with her.  She has never driven by herself on a long trip before.  So of course, even though I said my prayers, and chatted away, with myself and God. I still felt as nervous as can be.

We talked several times through out the day and night.  It was terrible traffic most of the way. Couldn't go any faster than 25 miles an hour.  Courtney, said" MOM will I ever get there."   I know it was tough on her as the trip took about 4 hours longer than it should have.  Finally she got in at 3:30 am.  After 22 hours of driving non stop.  Then I went to sleep!  LOL

Well, I am going to Wish all of you a Very Merry Holiday and Christmas!!!!!!!   Yes, before I close I am going to share a picture of that baby, Chase.   I just can't help myself.

Chase is dreaming of what he wants Santa to bring to him!  Chase is 8 weeks old here.

So glad that your DD made it safely, driving those long hours. We don't even drive more than 7 hours anymore. I guess, being retired and not having a definite deadline helps. Chase is such a cute baby and you'll get your time to help spoil him with love, hugs and kisses. Enjoy your family Christmas with all and I wish you the very best one possible.

I'm so glad your DD got there safely. I can't imagine driving 22 hours straight. It is so great that you are feeling better right now. I know you will have a wonderful Christmas, with Chase and his big brother, and your children, and DH and the pups.  Such excitement at your house!  Merry Christmas my friend.

Merry Christmas to you & your family too Morgan.  Chase is just adorable.  It has been nice seeing some of my QWU friends becoming first time grandparents this year.  May your DD have a safe trip back home as well.

You have much to celebrate! Merry Christmas. We have driven that route at Christmas and we will never do it again! A Nightmare! Good for her to stick with it!
