Quilt With Us

Whew  I finally got the pieces put together for the Remember When quilt top.  This wasn't difficult, just time consuming or is it that I have too much on my plate???  By tomorrow I should have the borders put on. :o)

For those of you curious about the herd, yes I did have to fight with them to keep them out of the room while I finished piecing this together and to get the photo without the dogs taking all the glory for my work!

Hi Debbie, I still think you need a new baby in the house! lol As far as the neighbors dog goes, I nailed chain link to the wooden fence and now our retriever won't go near it and I haven't found any new holes in the fence.  I think the problem is solved.  As for the quilt, it really wasn't hard just needed time  to work on it.  If your going to SC bring back some sunshine for us.

Boy of boy..you know how to pick the hard ones.  You must have a ton of patience.

Kathy, your top is really striking.  The CT fabrics look great.  I know what you mean about your little herd.  We used to have 4 and now down to 2.  It really has been a lot easier and I find that I can take a step here and there and not step on mutt.   How is that neighbors "bad" dog doing?  Did you ever get that straighten out?

Kathy it's just beautiful.  Love the colors and have always wanted to to a blue and 'white' quilt.

Good morning to all.  Hi Karen, I love the fabric.  It looks sooo much better in a brighter light than what I have at the house.  It wasn't difficult like I said just very time consuming. Ok so I had to make it king size, we have alot of dogs that need their own space to sleep in!

I recognize that fabric :)

Beautiful job Kathy!  It does look like a challenging design!

So beautiful Kathy!  Those fabrics are just right, looks very complicated, not a pattern I should tackle.  :0)  Are you keeping this one?
