I'm so glad your kit arrived! I've enjoyed looking at everyone's completed blocks. I have to finish up the Egg Money before I'm allowing
myself to start this quilt, it's getting hard!!!!
Just one Tennessean saying hello and welcome to another Tennessean. I was born and raised in Nashville and my husband and I have lived in Hendersonville for about 39 years now. Hope the Titans win today. Maybe they'll make it this time!! I tagged one of your baby quilts as a favorite. I have the fabric in flannel that you made the quilt out of and it goes so good with the red. Nice to meet you, Linda
Good Morning purplemem..just to clarify things..I have not "done" this Grandmother's Flower Garden..yet...I have been working on and off on it for over 25 years and I may have 8 or 9 flowers at the most..still cathering my little calico's in primary color's for it..Wish I had known/thought about seam allowance prior to my first flower's ..but it will be mine...and somehow I will just make it work as a lap quilt probably..And if I get off this site..I may even finish it in my lifetime....I do enjoy chatting with all of the quilters though..and it is legal and moral..have a great day....Margie
Hello purplemem's what does a lab/collie look like??? I am trying to picture it in my mind..with a name like Honey..he/she must be sweet. Sounds like you are pretty experienced..I am new and if I spent more time sewing instead of reading all of these blog's or whatever you call them.. I might become more experienced myself..but I love reading about everyone.. seems like everyone has animals and is so nice.. I live in Michigan-Southern where we are getting lots of snow right now.. I am parshall to chihuahua's as we have 2 little therapy chihuahua's at the hospital I work at..they give us worker's as much therapy as our patients.. so welcome from Margie in Michigan
