Barbara, thank you so much for the acknowledgement, i have never done the thread art, i have been looking at some tutorials, and books, but a little intimidated, hopefully your project will help me as a newbee.
It may take a week BB as our mail seems to be sooo slow!!! I choose a piece I love and I'm sure you'll be able to cut up and collarge it as I know that you don't do quilting and I expect you have more threads than you do fabric. So I kept that in mind. I'm really looking forward to what people do as it is a little different swap. Lots of time we have till Sept. and I don't want people to feel rushed so will not post until they are all in with a smilebox with BJ. help. Probably will remind people like half way mark then so many days till close. etc. I am enjoying hosting I thought maybe I would be a bit itimidated among so many talented people. And isn't it great that so many of our newbies are willing to have a go. Great fun.
BB. Wonder if you could tell me. I used straight stitching on the birds tummy and I wonder if it would have be better using zig zag stitch going back and forth to fill it in. What would you have done. As to me it seems that it didn't cover good.
Unfortunately too many things going on. Sick family members and all the other usual stuff. Got my few Christmas gifts done and mailed. Starting to have my "BAD" headaches again. But it's gotta get better. Merry Christmas to all. A Happy Healthy New Year to all.
Hi Barbara your quilts are so beautiful you are so clever I am more of a traditional quilter but i do love looking at eye candy , so maybe next year i will try this too busy making xmas presents at the moment .
