Nancy I do love totes that everyone else makes. I have so many patterns but never have the time to make one. I am getting together with some friends (quilters) next week to make one together. Maybe that will get me going! Mary Pat

Nancy....what a great idea. My favorite color is red...mayber that has something to do with me liking the schoolhouse block. I have about 15 projects going. I work at a friends quilt shop and I am always making models. Classes keep the projects alive as well. Mary Pat

I love the shoolhouse hanging you show....the schoolhouse is a favorite of mine and I really have never made it. I guess that is now on my bucket list.

Hi Nancy, Thank you so much for the warm welcome. Right now I'm in Western Maryland (just about where it is its narrowest between WV and PA). I have always quilted by myself and this is as close to quilting with anyone as I've gotten. Our family is retired military and just we haven't gotten the knack of staying put long enough to make lasting friendships. Come July I'll be returning to Hawaii for 2 months where the other half of the family is. I sure miss my grandbaby.

Hi, Eastern Shore must have been a lot different than it is today, 25yrs ago. Nothing here now, can't imagine what it was like than. We lived in a small town in NJ, Tuckerton, 25 miles north of Atlantic City. I loved my little town until everyone wanted to get away from the city, now you can't get a cross town, too may people, house, cars etc.

I just moved to The ES about a year and 1/2 ago, I lived in a small town on the Jersey Shore before retiring on the ES. Love my new house and sewing room, it is a little hard meeting people when you don't work, I've joined curves and am on the board of the friends of ES.

Hi Nancy, thanks for the comment. That really was a fun little wall hanging to make. Don't you just love the kits from CT?
