Forgot to say I like the pincushions also. I've made some too. My own pattern, they are wool felt with hand embroidery. I will post pics. on my page when I get my camera fixed.

Vera, I love that patchwork bag. What fabric line is that? Or did you pull those fabric together from your stash? It's so springy!

Vera, Thank you for the prayers and well-wishes for my daughter, Sarah. It is truly appreciated. The quilters on this site really know how to rally around in good times and bad, and the support of people on here has been amazing! Mary

Hello Vera, how are you? Wonderful I hope. thank you for your comment but I couldnt find them. Ill learn soon. Im excited to tell about my on line shopping . loved it . I finally got the order I placed the day I signed up for the site. The fabric was so beautiful felt great and the color was perfect. Im hoping to post a photo so you can see it. It will be the second quilt Ive made for a buyer. I do a lot for family, friends, and babies. I made one for donation for a local school asking for help with raising money for supplies. they were happy. I was happy they were happy. I think I worry to much about my quilts being perfect for others . Do you worry about things like that? I had it made months before I called and told them that I made it for the school. They were surprised that someone would just pop out with a quilt for them to raffle. They expected to pay for it ,that took me back because I thought a donation was free. long story short I never wanted money for it .Wanted to help. dont know how they are doing with praying they make lots from thier raffle. Vera could you tell me how to invite friends and be others friend I dont know how it works gosh I am a little afraid I messed up by not Knowing how every thing works . Do I go to the forum the group or personally . thank you for your kindness Debbie B.

Thank you for the comment Vera. Your work is beautiful. Currently I'm just getting back into my quilting. I'm recovering from my 2nd back fusion surgery within a year. I'm wearing a brace during the day, so sitting at the machine is limited to about 45 minutes, then I need to get up and move around. I need to quilt my last one, trip to indonesia. I mentioned it in a blog when I first joined, but then the surgery took over. Do you have any suggestions on quilting the top of it? I've been putting it off because I just don't know what type of design would look good on it and I don't want to mess it up. Also I noticed your in California, where abouts? I've from CA and visit my family every year, but maybe not this year. Have a good day. Diane

Thank you Vera. I can tell you love sewing. You do beautiful work. Loved the frog & pumpkins. I have started doing machine quilting and it is enjoyable but will not give up my hand quilting for special items. I love getting lost in my stitches :0) Have a great day. Lori

Thanks, Vera, for commenting on the wholecloth picture. I enjoy the handwork. It relaxes me. BUT I pine for a long-arm machine! I have no idea if I'd be any good at it, but I'd sure like to try.

Your creations are magnificent! Especially love the first cherry quilt. I haven't tried my hand at bags, but that looks addicting.

Vera - where in California do you live. I am from Santa Maria originally - I've been in Texas now for close to 20 years. I always loved Solvang as a kid. I go back there everytime I go home. It looks like I'll be back there in June - my oldest daughter is having a wedding ceremony there (even though she lives here) and we will be taking all the grandkids to Disneyland.

Thank you for becoming a friend...... Sorry it took so long for me to reply. My computer at home isn't working right now, so I checked once I was back at work. We had the past Friday off....
Hope your Easter was very nice...........
We should have worked out in the yard, but instead I was inside and working on the latest quilt for a wedding coming up next month..
Chat again soon I hope!
