If I am correct, the MI after your name indicates what state you are located in...is that correct? If so, I must tell you I have been working in MI for the last 1.5 mos (Holland / Zeeland), and have yet to meet a "Michigander" that isn't a warm & friendly person!

Marci, I tried ordering the book from crafters choice first and it was out of stock. Maybe it isn't now but it was not that long ago. I did get the other books I ordered. I got ot fro CT right away.
I sometimes save all the very narrow batik strips and put them in decorative jars. My grandson actually put them in for me when he was small. It makes for an unusual decoration and he enjoyed it.
Hey...go to the slackers site and then go into the what colors will you choose area ---- go to page 4----are you getting all this??? then check out Karen's batik's on black...WOW...
Marci, before you order your book from Crafter's Choice, make sure you are ordering "Sylvia's Bridal Sampler." I mention this because there has been some confusion as the Dear Jane quilt is the one that shows 4" blocks, and some people have thought we were planning on making that quilt.
I can't figure out how to send pictures to this site. It has something to do with my regular email. I am soo confused. I will keep trying. Love all of your pictures!!
