Hi Mich, Looks like you are still here. I just started quilting again a few months ago and decided to buy a new machine. Boy is it nice. I almost talks to you. I am working on a quilt with embroidered butterfly blocks scattered randomly. Have not figured out how I will pull it off yet. What are you working on. And how is everything in your world? I think of you often but lost your phone #.
I don't know if you got my other messages, but, I finally got it figured out and I am having great success with it. At first I had the freeser paper temps reversed, then I changed that and it works great now. So Happy you sent me that idea. Thanks again.
Mich, well I tried your method and it worked very well on any straight -right angled seam but when it is on a sharp like 60 or 45 deg. It still comes out wrong, It is the fold over, when I go to press then it doesn't cover the whole pattern piece.
Is that totally confusing to you?? Perhaps I don't have a big enough seam allowance on it?? I don't know.
Thanks for the answer, and what a great idea! I think I have some left over from relining my kitchen shelves awhile back. Don't even have to buy any. I'll be sure and report back how it worked for me. Thanks again.
Hi Mich, Yes I am having a time with my eyes. Cistoid Macular Edema. Fluid builds up and presses on retina. We are trying these shots as the next step would be more surgery. Thank you for your prayers. I am hoping this will work. I am still sewing and knitting--just not quite as much. I am looking forward to meeting you.
thanks for the tip about the Frixion pens, Mich---I have read about them but haven't tried them---guess that will have to go on my list for the next time I'm in the big city! Merry Christmas to you, and happy quilting!
Have not found any zumba yet. Have joined the Seaside Stitchers at my church and with the Holidays have been keeping quite busy. Also joined a group of knitters at our local library. So, I am knitting a sweater for myself. Quilting and other crafts with the stitchers and hope to start a quilt for my newest granddaughter soon.
I still have to quilt the one with the shells. I put it off to do the pp project because it is for Christmas. I should start to quilt one tomorrow, Thank you for the encouragement as well. I am looking forward to meeting you, I am going to look into what else is around here too.
