Hi Linda your Punee swap arrived this morning - thank you very much - It is great and my grand daughter just loves sheep too. Can you guess what she will want to play with when they come here for a holiday? I wonder how she will use it? Thank you again. Mine will be in the post soon.
Hi linda, are u going to the NEC birmingham this week, i am so looking forward to it. I am going with a trip locally. What has happened to he colour of print on your page, it is so difficult to read, i thought i would let you know. Hope all is going well with all hospital visits and treatment, i think of you all so often. Jess must be a little trouper. Ttfn marianne
Hi Linda, sorry to hear of the road you and Jess are on at the moment, I am sure there is many stressful times, but keeping positive is a good therapy. Does she come down to James Cook to the clinic? You are all in my thoughts and prayers ttfn Marianne
Linda I am sorry it has taken me so long to answer your questions on the Rag Jean quilt I made for my GD Nicole. It fits a double bed and yes it is very heavy. It is made without any batting so that does help with the weight. My GD loves it. Says it is warm on our cold winter nights.
Thank you for your kind comments on my quilts. It feels so good to have finished them. The Half Square Triangle Fun Quilt is a free download pattern from Connecting Theads. I have it cut out again out of the aqua part of the AT collection. It's very easy - they all were!
Hi Linda, Thank you for your kind comment on the Double Wedding Ring quilt. It is do encouraging to share these projects with others who understand the joy and love of quilting. Hope all is well in your part of the world.
Good morning, Linda. I was just thinking of you the other day. I left a comment regarding the comment you left on my blog. Easier to leave it there so others could see it too. So how have you been? Love the newspaper article. Sorry I haven't kept more in touch. My health not good and I'll be tested for Parkinsons next week. I have too many quilts in me to have that take over. But I don't give in easily and I'll keep quilting as long as God will allow. Since I have fibro, that group have become family and a huge support even with the other health problems. I love your new avitar. You look so young and alive! Here's to a wonderful 2013. Hugs. Linda
Thank you, Linda, for checking out my quilts. Tina was having a stent put in when the Dr. nicked her artery and she would have bled to death if the triple by-pass wasn't immediately performed. Since she lives alone, she went to a retirement home that offers recuperation. Now that she is home, she is doing well and walks the floors of our condo for exercise.
I think it is so funny how she likes the back of my quilt better than the front. "Her colours" are on the back!
Thanks for your nice comment on my mystery quilt. The IQ group is so much fun and comes up with fun things to keep us interested and connected. I like the quilt design and will probably make another one this winter.
Hello Linda ... thank you for the friend request :) ... i have my photos and such set for 'friends only' viewing .. making a monkey of myself i reserve for my friends viewing pleasure only ;) LOL ... Hope you like what you find ... you have some great pics yourself ! Have a good day / evening !
Linda thank you for saying to me how many lives Mr Man has touched on QWU. He was such a special boy and I appreciate all the comforting words from so many. This is such a special group and you all have helped me to get through these days. God Bless You Linda and so many others who have shown kindness and sent prayers!!
Thank you for the compliment on my QOV - Scrambled Fat Quarters. I can't take credit for the choice of fabric. I was given the pattern and a baggie of precut fabric at the Spring QOV quilt-in. My DH loves the colours too. I am going to make the pattern again - I've already picked out my fabric - I hope that I do as good a job at selection as the volunteer who assembled my kit.
