Hi Kim, I saw you were having trouble downloading Hearth and Home into EQ6. Do you have version 6, or an older one? Did you see the download instructions we provide? You have to put it in a special folder before it will work. Let me know if you need more help.
Hi Kim, Your boys are adorable!. They probably wouldn't like to be called that, but they are. They know how to pose too. You should put bows on them and use the photo for a Christmas card. It would really be cute. Hope you get a break soon and can get some quilting done. Have a relaxing weekend..........
Hi KIm, I thought you were back from your vacation and were catching up but was sure when I got an email from Donna about the pups. So I came on to your page and there was a message to me from you on your page....I did the same thing, don't know how but I did. So I will answer.
Hope ;you enjoyed your time in Phoenix. It has to be warmer out there than it was here. I bet you are busy going to school and working. Your break will be well deserved. I am retired from KeyBank and work 2 days a week in a BP convenience store. That is because my husband is also retired and after a year of us both home 24/7 one of us had to get out for a short time and that someone became me. I am looking forward to seeing 'the boys'. Will be looking forward to their pictures. Hope you had a nice Valentines Day! Sue
hi kim....... thank you for your comment. i think i mentioned the singer was the only machine i have really sewn on. when i was at my sisters several years ago i used her machine but don't remember what kind she has. the singer i have is like an old friend. i got my moms machine out today, a white, and managed to jam it some how :( i am going to take my singer in for a check and cleaning, etc. but also plan to look at some other machines.
you really have your hands full with school and working. i was in school for quite awhile but was able to go full time and only work part time. when i decided to go back to school in my early 30's, my mom offered for me to come back home to live to help me out. it was a true blessing.
have you been quilting long? happy valentine's day and be blest,
Hi there. I want to apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I don't know if I told you that I am working full time and going to school full time. I am finishing up my bachelors degree as well as going to school for mediation. It has been a very rough quarter and ever since we got back from Phoenix my nose has been literally to the books. I have one more week and I am don for this quarter with a 2 week break before I start the next one.
Snickers and Reecie are absolutely adorable. Yorkies are the best and Reecie looks lie she is a pure joy. I will get "the boys" posted tonight for you. It is nice to see that Snickers is cut short. We keep our guys cut short. It is so much easier to take care of them.
I am really hoping that this weekend I will be able to get to my blocks. I have not even started except to press out the fabric. It is in the plans to take about 3 hours to work on the first four blocks so I can have them finished this weekend. How are you doing on your quilt? Can't wait to see the finished products of everyone.
Again, I apologize for taking so long to respond to you. Please forgive me.
Hi Kim, Hopeyou enjoyed your time away from home. My son and daugther-in-law emailed me the pictures of Reecie and Snickers so I am going to try to send them to you. Will be looking forward to seeing Kenji, Kellen and Toby.
I am going to try to add the link to the LakeFarm Quilt show to this for you so you can see what will be going on. Bare with me as I am not real computer savvy. lakemetroparks.com/programs/Quilts2009.shtml I hope this is it. I don't have any pictures of the pups except on my cell phone and don't know how to get them to my computer. My son and his wife live in Columbus so I don't get to see them real often. Everyone is so busy with work and we don't like to drive too far in the winter. I do know that Snickers is getting snipped this week. They are hoping it may calm him down. Is Kellen named after that famous Cleveland Brown?
I think Mary Huey teaches, in fact I know she will be teaching at this quilt show. I think she is also affliated with Pins and Needles where they sell Berninas, one shop on the east side and one on the west side.
Lets meet in Florida, I need the vacation. Actually I am flying to Phoenix next week for a wedding. My niece is getting married. I would love info on the Tin Lizzy. How about sending me a link to thei web site. It has always been my dream to have something to quilt faster. Hand quilting takes so long. I has a yourkie many years ago and had to have him put down, not even three years old due to a problem in his line. I still miss him. There is not a day that I don't look at his picture and wish he were still here.
Your cousin is about 4 hours from me. I like the area but have only been there to pass through.
Does your aunt quilt? How did you learn this hobby? My neighbor taught me. Have been hooked every since.
Elly May is almost 8 # , I had another poodle before her that was smaller. I really miss her she was 15 when she died. I love small dogs, well dogs in general .
I have a cousin that lives in Ohio near Dayton.
The tin lizzy is very easy to use and yes I think if you get the newest model you can put on the Qbot. I wasn't all that impressed with Qbot..now I think...tin lizzy has their own version would you like me to check with my dealer for you...
Last month they were selling Tin Lizzy's for $4999. No tax for out of state. I had to pay tax....I like that it winds the bobbin as you sew.
I have an aunt in Florida, lets go.....!LOL
We have a lot in common, our dogs and quilting ... I like all the quilting you do. The Tin Lizzy is great. I have only had it a month and done one quilt on it but am going to try and baste a quilt on it today. Will see how that goes ...has to be better than crawling around on the floor.
Where are you located. Iowa is cold right now. Florida sounds awfully nice right now. LOL....
