Also I'm going to knit a sweater after I get Megan's wedding quilt finished. Actually I haven't even cut it out...I do have all the fabrics though. I'm going to make a blue cardigan with silver buttons. I'm tired of knitting scarves. :)
Janet, I've never done a Hidden Nine Patch so I can't help.
It is getting warmer here but today is cloudy. Tomorrow is going to be 65 and sunny. I'm looking forward to the Spring but I did get a lot of quilts made while I was snowed in. So I guess there is a good side to Winter too.
Hi Janet... how are you this morning? Crazy weather we are having eh? Did you get hit by that latest storm or did it miss you... we are having a heat wave up here... I cleaned up my sewing room last night.... oh my... found enough scraps to make another pillow or two.
Hi Janet, finished my daughter's quilt and almost finished a baby quilt... baby due on Valentine's Day... made a pillow last night by using up the scraps from the baby quilt.. using Quilt as you Go and Foundation Piecing method together... it looks lovely... I love the tutorials that are available through this site.
How are you doing? It's still cold here but crazy weather patterns for the Yukon... we're supposed to have rain tomorrow... that will make it really crazy here for the infrastructure... not to mention the danger of all this snow melting...
I got your note earlier and tried to reply... can't quite figure out this system... have been busy... couple of birthday parties and my grandson spending the night here... still fitting in as much quilting as I can... weather has warmed up... thank goodness.
drop me another note and let me see if I can figure out how to write you back.
Hi Janet... I did get a confirmation back.. looks like all is well.
I'm still working on my daughter's quilt ... sewed the binding on this morning... my grandson (six years) was up last night with an earache so his Mom is dropping him off to me for a while... always nice to see him... he will probably just watch TV... we have Treehouse... and then I can work on my newest project... I'm making a quilt for a young lady that I made a quilt for when she was born.... I think she's about 25 or 26 now... time flies... still cold up here... minus 27 as we speak... it's supposed to warm up.
I posted some pictures of our honeymoon... not sure if I mentioned that we just got married in June... been together five years plus
they used to do a comemerative (? spelling) dog run which was a lot of fun... not sure if they do it anymore... and I think they took the mail like 100 miles... you could buy an envelope .. for a hefty price and write someone a letter and it would go by dog team for at least 100 miles before being thrown in the regular mail... it was kinda cool ...literally... anyway, not sure how long it will take but I had breakfast today with some quilters and they ordered and received goods through this website so... it'll get here when it gets here... right now I'm watching the Golden Globe awards... dinner will be leftovers... planned that well. cheers, Betty by the way... it's warmed up to minus 27 Celcius.. still cold...
