Heidi, when you get some time, please let us kow how you're doing.  The gals at the ME group are wondering and worrying about you!  Hope you are safe.

Heidi, are you all okay up there after the storm?  Let us hear from you so that we won't worry anymore.

A good friend (who used to live right across the road from me) moved to WV and took her Gammill with her - darn her! LOL!

I'd give about anything to move farther south right now. DH is retired Navy and we spent more time in the south (MS) than anywhere else and I sure do miss the mild-er winters. ~sigh~

Good Morning Heidi....Yes I knit socks.  That is my favorite thing to knit, I use sock yarn and not the regular 4 ply yarn that you would use for afghans (sp?).  I do have a pattern that is pretty easy....the only part you would need help with is the heel and once you get that part down you are golden.  I don't mind sharing my pattern if you want to try.  I do these socks on 3 needles.  I also knit mittens.  Thanks for friending me.   Rachel

Hi Heidi! Thanks for the invitation! How lucky you are to have a long arm. I would have absolutely no place to put one as my home is only 1500 sq ft. So, when do you get to move to FL full time??

Heidi, I get on here so frequently, and I never think to go to my page and add people as friends.  I think it's because all the people here are so friendly, we have a lot in common and it seems like we've all known each other for ages.  Thanks for the invite!

Good morning Heidi.  Make sure you sign up for the bird block swap. I just posted the guidelines.  I'm hoping to get the top assembled from the floral block swap soon.  Just too many projects & not enough hrs in the day!

The reason you don't see it is that I haven't added the picture yet. I'm a bit behind in adding pictures. I'll try to get pictures added in the next week or so.

Heidi, sorry I missed this message before. I'm busy trying to stay cool so been spending lots of great time in my sewing room. When are you getting to stay in Florida?

Heidi - the sunflower pattern is by Lunch Box Quilts. Angie Steveson is a personal friend of mine. Her patterns are LOTS of fun to do.

Hello Heidi!

Thank you for the nice comments on my quilts and other stuff!

I am passionate about quilting, sewing, machine embroidery, machine quilting and collecting gadgets!!!

I have a Janome MC11000, Baby Lock serger, TinLizzie mid-arm.

I wish I could remember where I got those wooden storage bins - I think maybe Joanne's - several years ago. I use them to store my embridery thread - need more drawers!! Too much thread!!

I have a blog - http://www.pleasantpondstudio.biz have a look!

Hi - I saw your comment about the quillows- I got my instructions from an old issue of Fons & Porters Love of Quilting magazine but  there are some instructions on the web  from other  people if you Google them- probably the hardest part was trying to figure out how to turn it into a pillow!!

Happy packing and safe travels!  Robin

Yep!  I got it when I got back from my meeting yesterday.   I don't have a need to do any kits but I appreciate those pages all the same.  I hope you are getting your packing done so that you will be able to get moved so that you can get back to stitchin' and quilting.

There wasn't  anything next to the Hangout when I was there- I left in Oct of 2008- wow seems like just yesterday.

Heidi - thank you for all the kind comments on my work. I really appreciate the nice comments. I don't have a long arm - all quilting done is done on my Bernina 730. You have some beautiful work yourself!

I was only in Suzie Qs a handfull of times- they just didn't have much that appealed to me while the Hangout had a wide variety and Gayle, Deb and the girls were so friendly. I had 2 quilts quilted there and took some classes plus the house quilt on my page in my pix was a BOM from there.

I do miss FL in the winter but still love looking at the mountains!

Hi Heidi - thank you for all the comments on my quilts/projects. To answer your questions - On the "Positive/Negative Trapunto" project - I stippled it on my Bernina 730. I don't own a quilter of any kind. The wedding announcement was made because my son and his girlfriend gave me three weeks notice that they were getting married! I had to do something! LOL And, no, I don't make one for everyone. The "Painted Embroidered Sunflower" - the stitching around the center is embroidery stitches that the teacher digitized for this class. The "Sunflower" wall hanging (the one with all the bright colors) is a Lunch Box Quilt pattern called "Sunflower". I THINK it is still available.

You do beautiful work, also! I need to take my time and go through all your projects!
