Hi Burtine, I have not started the quilt yet because would you believe I cannot find the pattern you sent to me....I have the fabric but no pattern.Could you please resend it? I sure would appreciate it also when you order from Connecting Threads do you pay duty? They always have nice fabric .
Our letter dog passed and that was quit a shock to me but we could tell it was time because she would fall down after taking one step ,she would just fall comply down..But I am ready to get back to my sewing.
Hi Burtine I understand that maybe you are not well Please I hope you will feel better soon and know you are missed on the qwu site I haven't been checking the site very often so don't know what si going on Take care Hugs Andrea
I would be delighted to meet you for tea on Saturday at 2. See you at Second Cup on 142 Street. What would you like me to bring you? Still playing with scraps-I probably can find you some of those.. See you on Saturday.. A
Sorry about the confusion re the quilt show- we also enjoyed the show though we didn't have enough time to do it justice. I wondered if this Saturday or the following Saturday works for you- I am done report cards and keep plugging away at some other individual reports that I have to complete but I am making progress.
I hope all went well with your sister's move. I know that it has been quite the journey for you all.
I will look forward to having tea with you soon. Hugs, A
You sure do beautiful quilting,Burtine. I cannot seem to find the time to get all the things done that I would like to do. I started a quilt 4 months ago and still have not finished it. The weather here in Bc has been so nice I seem to spend a lot of time out doors gardening! My sister-in-law lives in Winnipeg and they have not done much out doors yet. Tomorrow is rubarb picking time so i will be busy .
Good Morning, Burtine..........was it you that said you were quilting small pieces these days? I am with you, just can't manage large quilts anymore. A good website for that sort of kitchen décor etc. is freequilting.com lots of small things. Good luck, have a great day. Cloudy and cold today in Sask. Where is spring?
Burtine, I love your baby quilt. We are going to have our first great grandbaby later this year and that would be a great pattern to follow. I have saved the picture for further inspiration if you don't mind.
I do have the Vera Bradley pattern Burtine- I will bring it next time we get together. I hope we will get a chance to meet with Chrissie- I am doing the quilt workshop on Saturday until 3:30 but I can flex around that if Saturday is the only day that works to get together. Hope that it works out.. Have a great weekend. A
