Hi Penny.  Even though you are new to the group & haven't met Rachel yet, I wanted to let you know that I will be making a comfort quilt for her.  If you want to participate, please send a 6-1/2" heart block (pattern of your choice) to:

Janet Espeleta

Thanks

Hi Penny, Your quilts are beautiful.  Where in So. Oregon do you live?  We lived in Medford from 1977 to 1985.

Penny your Quilts are awesome.  Love them all as I'm sure you do.  I love your slide show of all your quilts.  I feel like I'm at a Quilt Show... LOL but this is even better.

Penny, your quilts are gorgeous! I have enjoyed watching your slide show, you have some stunning quilts you've made. Do you do your quilting by hand or machine? You are very talented!

I love your Minglewood Variation quilt, Penny--absolutely beautiful!  The sashing is perfect, but that seems to be something you are especially good at!  Thanks for sharing your quilt!

Thanks, Penny, for that link to the Ruffled Roses pattern!  I'll have to save up some $ and order it.

And thank you, too, for the kind words about my quilts.

I love yours, too!  All of them are so intricate and precise.  :)

Penny,,, thanks for your response.  I have been thinking of meandering, because of the busyness, but then was also thinking of something a little more fitting to the time.  Guess when I find a LA quilter, we can make the decision together.  Thanks for your remarks on my quilts.

In looking at your photo page, I see a lot that I have done, or would like to do.  I love your treadle sewing machine.  I have my  great aunts, but a care giver put plants on top of the cabinet, then overfilled the plants, so water has totally damaged the top.  Still holding out that my aunt will give me my grandmother's.

Penny, You are right! The flower hearts is a Thimbleberries pattern. It is one of my favorites. I originally made it to be over our fireplace as a seasonal quilt.

Dear Penny, I think you are right. Your home looks a lot like mine. I have my Hubbie's grandmothers singer made in 1890's and also a beautiful old white. I will post a picture the white someday. I like the way it opens and closes. Currently I use it for a wall table in my living room. Your machine is just beautiful. We live in an old farm house which was built in 1901. Although we have done some remodels I try to keep the farm look.
