Yes it would be great. I actually met up with a woman from Wisconsin through a CT friend. We had each others picture and were looking for someone with grey hair......Yea Right!!!!! But we found each other. And had a nice visit and maybe a new friendship.
You would have to see the hanging top of the church and school. It takes 2 ladders, one on the ground and one on the second roof. 2-3 men hold the ladders as a woman climbs both to hang the quilts. I've watched it and there is NO way I would get past the second step of the ladder. We have cords stretched across the tops of the buildings from which we hang the quilts. Next year I will try to take pictures of just the hangings. Have to be there at 6:30 am though.
Hi Janet, I haven't really made anything on my machine yet. I just got the Bernina Deco 340 and haven't learned how to load the patterns on it yet. I was disappointed that it didn't have very many designs built into it. The sales people let you think that all that is in there, all the things that they say "Oh, I did this or that on this machine". Well, I am going to learn how to use it soon. I will be going to the "Embroidery Club" meeting on Saturday morning. I need to be taught the computer works of the machine as well as how to set up and which stbilizer to use for which job. If you can help in any way I would appreciate it. Thanks, Gayle
Janet, I have something I'd love to send you. Would you email me your address at email@example.com. Don't worry, it is nothing you have to respond to (I don't do chain mail). God put you on my heart today and asked me to do this.
