Thanks! Yes Lynn. I'm doing the Galactic Explosion. Didn't Nancy pick out some wild colors. They are making me smile.
Those are neat. Are the black blue and green ones from "Galactic Explosion" BOM? If so that's neat cause I am doing that too. Anyway the blocks are pretty.
Thanks Lynn! I enjoy baby quilts - the last two I made were for newborn twin girls. I think I like the size of baby quilts - they can be finished quickly - and I like the satisfaction of a finished project!
I'm not a native Oregonian, but my husband is.He grew up in Eastern Oregon. I graduated from Franklin HS, Portland. We lived in Portland for about a year or so in the mid 70s, then returned in 1989 and were in Beaverton for 15 years. We are now in Yakima, care givers for my folks. Our kids all live in Oregon still, mostly the Beaverton area.
I love your teapot runner - had not seen that one before. You've probably noticed I have several tea themed quilts. I'm having a hot cup of Chai as I write! Yum yum
Hi Lynn.. Welcome to Mini Madness. this group is new and just starting to grow we are happy that you have joined. We show and share anything related to mini quilts.. people are from beginners to advance but we all share the same passion Mini Quilts!! what to do with all those wonderful scraps that are building up?? make minis' so post your introductory and we would love to see what you can inspire in mini's
It was the two twins quilt. That always seems funny to say two twins.
I like the fact that the quilt is supper easy with only 9 patches. You can just give me the measurements of the squares and borders and whole quilt and I could figure it out. Unless I am missing something.
I love your tea pot table runner. I have wanted to do a tea pot quilt since I saw one last year in a show in CA but I have been so busy making quilts for my grand daughters. I have one that is 9 and I made her a Halloween, single. The other one is a year old and made of lots of baby quilts. Now there is a thrid one due and I am trying to finish up five other quilts.
I enjoyed looking at all of you quilts, they are super.
